Today’s topic is “Create a World Without Bullying” National Bullying Prevention Month, held in October each year, was created to raise awareness and provide options to respond to bullying. Bullying isn’t something that can be resolved in a month, however. Students and adults need to work on it throughout the school year to be effective. Take the Pledge: More than one out of every five students will be bullied this year. This is probably happening to someone you know and care about. Show your support—pledge today! Make a commitment to; support others who have been hurt or harmed, treat others with kindness, be more accepting of people’s differences, help include those who are left out

May-Port CG High School will be competing in the Region 3 One Act Play Contest Thursday, November 4 at Northwood in their new performing arts center.  This year’s play is the comedic farce “The Greek Mythology Olympiaganza” by Don Zolidis. The cast of 14 takes the audience through a whirlwind of Greek mythological tales as they really  happened, "sons killing fathers who killed their father who had some other kids that are like gigantic monsters with twenty five thousand heads and they're all poisonous and eating all kinds of stuff and it's awesome!" The public performance is Tuesday, November 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the MPCG High School Auditorium. Everyone is welcome; there is no charge.  Performances for the Middle School and High School are Monday, Nov. 1.
