May-Port CG had two teams of math students compete at the Mayville State Math Competition today! Participating students are pictured L to R: Kate Bradner, Oliver Marquardt, Lucas Fugleberg, Landon Koenig, Lucas Peterson, Lyle Voth, Elsie Twedt, and Maci Moellenkamp. The team comprised of Lucas Fugleberg, Oliver Marquardt, Elsie Twedt, and Lucas Peterson took home second place, with a big congrats to Lucas Peterson, who placed second individually! Way to go, Patriots!

The Northwest Music Festival is being held this weekend in Minot and MPCG’s Emma Dockter (flute), Elsie Twedt (baritone saxophone), Oliver Marquardt (voice, tenor) and Jaxon Freeberg (trumpet) were selected to attend! Way to go, Patriots!


There are currently 58 active cases of COVID-19 in Traill County. There is one active case at PBJ Elementary. There are no active cases of COVID-19 at he middle school / high school. Our school numbers are looking better, but the county numbers are concerning. Please continue your efforts to stay healthy and have a great week!

This year’s One Act play is the comedic farce “The Greek Mythology Olympiaganza” by Don Zolidis. The public performance is TONIGHT at 7:30 p.m. at the MPCG High School Auditorium. Everyone is welcome; there is no charge! May-Port CG High School will be competing in the Region 3 One Act Play Contest Thursday, November 4 at Northwood in their new performing arts center.
