The 2024 fall sports season has started. The girls golf team got underway with their first practice today!! They have their first varsity meet this Friday in Casselton at 9 AM.⛳️
Thank you to everyone that attended the MPCG VB camp last week at the high school! There were 29 HS players and 51 elementary and JH participants. 🏐

The 2024 Lion's All-Star Basketball first game is tonight in Bismarck at 6:00PM. Rylee Satrom and Raegen Zerface will be playing for the Class B/A team and coached by MPCG girls basketball coach Keenan Konschak. Watch live on YourLiveEvent. The May-Port CG Cheerleaders had a great camp. Five athletes attended UCA camp in Cavalier where they learned chess, chants, dances, and stunts. The team won a "Superior Squad" award, which is a top honor. Individual awards went to Nova Garrett, Jump Off Champion; Cora Hulm, Most Improved; Georgie Bratlie, Inquistive/Learner Award; final, Georgie Bratlie and Maddie Amb both earned spots on the All-American Cheer Team. This award is given for outstanding cheering, dancing, and jumping! We are very proud of our team!
Congratulations to Cutler Peterson for setting a new Clean Lift record of 275lb for his weight class. The former record was 245lbs set by Chad Thykeson.

MPCG FFA wrapped up the 95th ND State FFA Convention in Fargo! There were over 1,300 members in attendance this year! Congratulations to the following members for their awards and participation in their contest areas:

State Golf after Day 1 (9 holes) - ⛳️ After the first round, the team is in 12th (out of 20). Cody Fugleberg shot 2 over and is currently tied for 11th. Tomorrow tee times start at 7:30AM. Only playing 12 holes.
Rylee, Danica and Raina will play the 3rd game (rubber match) in the Scheel's All-Star game tomorrow in Casselton. Skills competition at 4:00 PM and the game starts at 5:30 PM. Streaming in YourLiveEvent.
