
The Freshman English class is finishing its unit on Elie Wiesel's "Night" by participating in The Butterfly Project. Each student read the profile of a real human impacted by the Holocaust and designed a butterfly in that person's honor.

4th grade hosted a "Meet Your Teacher at the Mayville Public Library " event! Students went to the library, signed up for library cards, checked out books and even brought their families to join in on the reading fun! A big thanks to Kelli Tvedt for all her help!

A trip to Italy in the Food Prep Class! Raspberry Italian Sodas, Pepperoni Crustini, home made cheese ravioli, stuffed pepper boats and home made gelato made the trip an excellent one. These students can cook! (Sorry … the seniors were taking yearbook pics and did come eventually!)

Baseball game @ Park River is postponed to May 2nd at 4:30
Varsity baseball practice will practice at the arena tonight, as well as at 6:00am at the arena Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
JH Baseball v. Hatton-Northwood- Postponed TBD, they will practice after school at the high school and at 6:30am at the high school on Thursday.
Varsity softball v. Langdon is postponed to May 3rd at 4:30, as a result the May 3rd games v. Fargo Davies are rescheduled for May 4th at 11:00am
Varsity softball v. Larimore is postponed to Saturday April 20th at Larimore at 1:00
JH softball is postponed to Thursday 4/18 at 4:00 at Northern Cass High School
Varsity softball will practice tonight after school at the arena, and JH softball will practice tonight at PBJ

Serenity Gebhardt/Maddie Amb: 3rd in Humorous Duo;
Serenity Gebhardt: 4th in Serious Prose;
Maddie Amb: 1st in Dramatic Interpretation.
Camden, Serenity, and Maddie will be attending the ND Class B Speech Meet in Mandan on Saturday, April 27.

MSU was buzzing with the sound of the Region Solo and Ensemble Festival on Thursday. Congratulations to ALL of the MPCG students who performed! 21 students in 18 different events received a STAR a rating making it to State Music!! There were also 3 events that received an Outstanding Performance in their rooms (Hannah Ostlie-vocal solo, Jaxon Freeberg-trumpet solo, Jacob McClenahen/Danica Freeberg/Parker Strand/Piper Lindaas/ Anabelle Barker/Aaden Aarsvold/Jackson Craig-Saxophone Ensemble). Way to go, Patriots!
